Not at all. Atha retreats are open to all levels, from complete beginners to long-time practitioners. Gwen tailors each session with modifications and hands-on adjustments so that everyone can practice safely and progress at their own pace. The most important thing you can bring is an open mind.
Absolutely — and many of our participants do. Our retreats are kept intentionally small so that everyone feels welcome from day one. Solo travellers often leave with lasting friendships. Whether you come alone or with a friend, there is always a place for you with us.
We keep our groups small and intimate — typically between 8 and 14 participants. This is a deliberate choice: smaller groups mean more personal attention on the mat, richer connections around the table, and a genuine sense of community throughout the week.
Days usually include a morning practice to energise and a gentler evening session to wind down. Between practices, you have free time to explore, rest, or simply be. Meals are shared together — fresh, nourishing, and made with care. The pace is intentionally unhurried.
Each retreat includes accommodation, all meals, two daily yoga sessions, and access to all workshops and group activities planned for that retreat. Flights and travel insurance are not included. Any extras or excursions will be clearly listed on the individual retreat page.
Mats and props are provided at some of our retreat locations, and Gwen will reach out before the retreat to let you know if you should bring your our. That said, if you have a mat you love and travel allows it, you're always welcome to bring it.
Head to the retreat page of your choice and click "Book a spot". A deposit secures your place, with the balance due closer to the retreat date. Spots are limited, so we recommend booking early — especially for early bird pricing.
We understand that plans can change. Please get in touch with us directly at hello@atharetreats.com and we will do our best to find a solution. We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.

Absolutely. Please let us know your dietary needs when you book and we will make sure you are well taken care of. Our meals are typically plant-forward, fresh, and made with seasonal ingredients — most dietary requirements can be accommodated with ease.
We strongly recommend it. Travel insurance gives you peace of mind in case of unexpected illness, cancellation, or travel disruption. Please ensure your policy covers the activities included in the retreat.
